Aerotek's client is looking for an experienced Forklift Operator to join their team in the Hanover, MD area
In this role, you will play a critical part in our warehouse operations by efficiently handling the movement, storage, and loading of high-quality communication and connectivity products.
You will be responsible for operating sit-down forklifts to manage inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness while maintaining strict adherence to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities
Operate sit-down forklifts to manage the movement, storage, and loading of products.
Handle inbound and outbound shipments with precision and efficiency.
Ensure all operations are conducted in adherence to safety and quality standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve shipping and receiving issues as they arise.
Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve operational goals.
Essential Skills
Experience in operating sit-down forklifts.
Ability to walk and stand for extended periods.
Capability to lift up to 60 lbs.
Forklift certification preferred.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
5+ years of experience in operations, logistics, or supply chain.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
Proven warehouse management experience, including a managerial role.
Competency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Excel, and Word.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to make decisions, solve problems, prioritize tasks, and direct workforce effectively.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
