to support students on the autism spectrum with comprehensive therapeutic services. We empower individuals aged 5‑21 with personalized K‑12 education and interdisciplinary therapy—speech, physical, occupational, and vocational training—preparing students for success beyond the classroom.
Duties and Responsibilities
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to evaluate and plan student occupational performance.
Conduct functional, behavioral, and standardized assessments; synthesize results into written report.
Develop evidence‑based intervention plans and monitor progress toward IEP goals.
Provide in‑service training to educators, parents, and community partners.
Maintain caseload of 45 30‑minute sessions weekly; meet 85% utilization of IEP mandates.
Maintain confidentiality, attendance, and professional documentation.
Other responsibilities as assigned by Program Director.
Requirements
Graduate from an accredited occupational therapy program recognized by NBCOT; completed all fieldwork.
State OTR/L licensure in the state of hire.
One year experience in school or pediatric setting preferred.
Knowledge of sensory integration.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Working Conditions
Location: Downtown Brooklyn.
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8 :00 am – 3 :30 pm.
Lifting up to 25 lbs; frequent walking, sitting, standing; stooping, kneeling, crouching.
