Overview As an Assistant Store Manager, you support the Store Manager in building a team that delivers an amazing customer experience. You execute all store operations, maintain a visually appealing store, and create a positive environment that engages managers, associates, and customers.
Responsibilities
Partner with the Store Manager to create action plans and grow the business.
Demonstrate product knowledge, selling and operational skills to maximize sales.
Engage with customers to build loyalty using company tools.
Develop team members committed to a great customer experience.
Oversee division of responsibility and be accountable for results.
Support store standards for merchandising and operations.
Share ideas to drive the business.
Remain composed in challenges and unforeseen circumstances.
Perform POS transactions in absence of Store Manager.
Model values of respect, integrity, teamwork, compassion, accountability, and inclusivity.
Qualifications
2+ years as a Co/Assistant Manager in apparel (preferred).
Exceed sales and statistical expectations.
Flexible availability to meet business needs (including evenings and weekends).
May require occasional travel to other store locations.
Physical Requirements
Ability to safely perform essential job functions consistent with ADA.
Regular, timely attendance consistent with ADA.
Stand for up to 8 hours per day.
Operate a computer and monitor for up to 8 hours per day.
Communicate verbally, in writing, or virtual methods.
Reach at or below shoulder level.
Carry equipment, move boxes/samples.
Bend, lift, open and move product and fixtures up to 50 lbs., as needed.
