Salary, Exempt About The Position

The Outlet & Warehouse Operations Manager plays a key leadership role in overseeing all aspects of daily operations within outlet and warehouse facilities (multi-site locations). This includes managing and guiding staff, ensuring efficient workflows, and maintaining high standards across inventory receiving, product storage, shipping logistics, and accurate record keeping. The manager monitors financial performance, prepares regular reports, and ensures full compliance with recycling protocols and safety regulations. In addition to managing the primary outlet location, the manager provides operational support to other warehouse sites engaged in salvage, disposal, and after‑market operations. Essential Functions and Responsibilities

Manage multi‑site operations in a managerial leadership capacity. Ensure all warehouse and storage processes meet daily requirements. Maintain product flow, determine work procedures, prepare work schedules, and expedite workflow. Manage warehouse, salvage, operations, and facility budget. Select, train, and direct employees, setting expectations to provide an efficient, congenial, cost‑effective workforce. Promote productivity by following up with employees on work results. Plan and implement warehouse and storage layout according to raw and salvage inventory and supplies needed. Communicate effectively with other Goodwill departments as needed. Maintain equipment according to recommended procedures and policies. Schedule and maintain periodic inventories. Prepare reports by collecting, documenting, and summarizing information. Complete projects by planning, organizing, and monitoring assignments. Hold regular departmental meetings. Ensure Goodwill Industries International (GII) compliance and updates. Ensure maintenance of all mechanical equipment according to recommended procedures. Uphold safe work practices in support of a safety culture through awareness and observation; train and educate employees on safety requirements; report any potential hazards or accidents. Perform any other duties as assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities

Interview, hire, and train employees; plan, assign, and direct work; monitor performance; reward and discipline employees; and address complaints and resolve problems. Partner with People Relations as needed and appropriate. Position Requirements

Education And Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or related field preferred. Knowledge of outlet retail, salvage, and disposal operations. Experience in multi‑site leadership and change management responsibility. Provides standardized process and procedures to drive consistency. Flexible and willing to travel up to 50% as needed to support multi‑operational locations and leadership priorities. Minimum 5 years’ experience leading teams in warehouse and/or outlet environment. Strong knowledge of production and warehouse facilities. Use of KPIs that measure efficiency, safety, and financial performance of a warehouse and logistics operation. Experience with basic accounting practices and bookkeeping. Effective communication and collaborative skills with internal and external customers. Provides ongoing professional development and succession planning for team members. Certificates, Licenses, Or Registrations

Evergreen Goodwill forklift certification within six months of hire date. Must have current Washington State driver’s license and insurance. Computer/Technology Skills

Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams. Ability to learn new technology and software as related to the job. Physical Abilities

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be required to sit for long periods of time, communicate with other employees by talking and hearing, lift and carry items weighing up to 30‑40 pounds, and operate computer systems. The employee must be able to operate heavy machinery in a safe and responsible manner. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The employee must communicate effectively both verbally and written, including those who have limited English skills, and maintain reliable attendance. Essential Mental/Sensory Abilities
