In this client-facing role, you will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of complex commercial loans. You will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, initiating critical loan activities and ensuring all transactions are executed accurately according to legal credit agreements. You'll play a key part in a dynamic team, reading and interpreting complex financial documents and communicating confidently with clients, lenders, and internal partners. Responsibilities
Initiate and manage loan activities, including fundings, payments, and repricings, as directed by clients and outlined in credit agreements.
Read and interpret complex legal credit agreements and related documentation to ensure accurate servicing and administration.
Calculate and track complex interest and fee accruals across various rate levels and lender distributions.
Reconcile daily funding and payment activity to account for all cash transactions and provide clients with timely and accurate invoices.
Serve as a key point of contact for clients, business partners, and lenders, providing information and resolving inquiries with confidence.
Perform quality control on new deals, restructures, and amendments to verify system setup accuracy.
Monitor and elevate past due principal, interest, and fees to maintain the integrity of the loan accounting system.
Qualifications
Approximately 2 years of experience in account management, client service, or a related role within the financial services industry.
Proven ability to read and interpret complex legal documents, such as credit agreements.
Syndicated loan experience is a huge plus .
Exceptional organizational skills with experience handling multiple projects or accounts simultaneously.
Confident and clear communication skills, with the ability to ask questions and explain complex information to clients and stakeholders.
Experience in accounting or loan administration is a plus. Experience in the mortgage industry is not transferable for this role.
A Bachelor’s degree is a plus, but not required for candidates with proven relevant experience. Recent graduates are welcome to apply.
