LVN / Licensed Vocational Nurse - Hospice Runner
Join our dedicated hospice team as a Hospice Runner LVN. In this part‑time role, you will provide hands‑on nursing care, including routine assessments and symptom management, during weekend hours. You will help ensure that the needs of our hospice patients are addressed promptly and with high‑quality care.

Schedule Options
Every Saturday and Sunday – 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Every Other Saturday and Sunday – 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Every Other Friday, Saturday, and Sunday – 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care to hospice patients, including appropriate pain/symptom management
Implement nursing practice following a comprehensive assessment and plan of care
Provide accurate and timely documentation of patient services
Assess and provide patient and family/caregiver education
Participate in coordination of hospice services
Participate in professional growth and development opportunities and quality assessment activities
Ensure compliance with all state and federal legal and regulatory requirements
Additional responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited practical or vocational nursing program with current licensure to practice in state of operation
Three years nursing experience. Community health/hospice or medical/surgical experience preferred
Knowledge of the hospice philosophy of care
Commitment to clinical and documentation excellence
Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state and/or organization requirements and is in good working order
Possess and maintain current CPR certification
