Join the Jacobs team as a Senior Mechanical HVAC Engineer. You will deliver innovative HVAC design solutions for heavy industrial clients, working field‑in‑office, coordinating with vendors, sizing systems, and preparing construction design packages. Base Pay Range

$123,600.00/yr – $162,300.00/yr Location

United States – any U.S. location. Ideally you will be near a Jacobs U.S. office, but we intend to hire the "best" candidates. Responsibilities

Layout and design of HVAC systems. Develop design criteria for HVAC systems, including general comfort heating and cooling, temperature or humidity control, pressurization or cleanliness requirements for clean room applications. Develop conceptual and preliminary design documents, including calculations related to sizing and selecting HVAC systems, Air Flow Diagrams (AFDs), Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), and general arrangements. Develop final design documents including specifications, sequences of operation, duct/piping layout, and final construction documents associated with HVAC systems such as chilled water, cooling water, etc. Coordinate with other disciplines. Qualifications

Professional Engineering License. At least ten (10) years’ experience in the design of HVAC systems for industrial facilities. Thorough knowledge of codes and standards related to the design of HVAC systems. Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Adaptability to work within a fast‑paced team environment with multiple deadlines. Ability to lead a building mechanical team on a project and to collaborate with other discipline team members remotely. Preferred

Software experience in Revit, Carrier HAP, Trane Trace 700, and Trane Trace 3D. Experience in the design of plumbing/utility systems. Benefits
