This role focuses on delivering innovative HVAC design solutions for heavy industrial clients and includes field investigations, client & vendor interfacing, sizing & selecting equipment, and preparing construction design packages.

Base pay range $123,600.00/yr - $162,300.00/yr
Key Responsibilities
Layout and design of HVAC systems.
Develop design criteria for HVAC systems, including general comfort, heat and cooling, temperature or humidity control, clean room applications, and pressurization requirements.
Perform conceptual design and preliminary design documents, including calculations related to sizing and selecting systems, develop Air Flow Diagrams (AFDs), Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), and general arrangements.
Develop final design documents including specifications, sequences of operation, duct/piping layout, and construction documents for chilled water, cooling water, and other systems.
Coordinate with other disciplines.
Qualifications
Professional Engineering License.
At least ten (10) years’ experience in the design of HVAC systems for industrial facilities.
Thorough knowledge of codes and standards related to the design of HVAC systems.
Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Adaptability to work within a fast‑paced team environment with multiple deadlines.
Ability to lead a building mechanical team on a project and to collaborate with other discipline team members remotely.
Preferred Experience
Software experience in Revit, Carrier HAP, Trane Trace 700, and Trane Trace 3D.
Experience in the design of plumbing/utility systems.
