Senior Mechanical HVAC Engineer

to develop innovative HVAC solutions for heavy industrial clients. As a Senior HVAC Engineer, you will create design criteria, perform calculations, and deliver construction documents while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.
Base pay range $123,600.00/yr - $162,300.00/yr
Responsibilities
Develop HVAC system layout and design based on client needs and performance requirements.
Create design criteria and perform sizing calculations for heating, cooling, humidity control, pressurization, and clean room applications.
Generate preliminary and final design documents, including Air Flow Diagrams (AFDs), Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), and general arrangements.
Produce final design specifications, sequences of operation, duct/piping layouts, and construction drawings for chilled water, cooling water, and other systems.
Coordinate with other disciplines and vendors, interface with clients, and manage schedule and technical quality of engineering tasks.
Qualifications
Professional Engineering License.
At least ten years of experience designing HVAC systems for industrial facilities.
Thorough knowledge of codes and standards related to HVAC design.
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
Adaptability to work within a fast‑paced team environment with multiple deadlines.
Ability to lead a building mechanical team on projects and collaborate with remote discipline team members.
Preferred
Experience with Revit, Carrier HAP, Trane Trace 700, and Trane Trace 3D.
Design experience in plumbing/utility systems.
