or a

Senior Principal Engineer Guidance, Navigation, & Control . This position will be located in

San Diego, El Segundo, or Palmdale, CA . Selected candidates will work in a multi-disciplinary team environment to design, develop, implement, verify, and test algorithms, software, and simulation tools to perform Guidance, Navigation and Control (GNC) of aircraft. They will develop control laws to meet air vehicle performance, flying qualities, and stability margin requirements, both on the ground and in flight. They will develop air vehicle system linear and non-linear dynamic simulation models and integrate models into software and hardware‑in‑the‑loop simulation environments. They will analyze air vehicle flight test data and support flight test activities. Job Details

Bachelors in STEM and at least 5 years of experience, a Master’s Degree in STEM with 3 years of experience, or a PhD Degree with no experience Excellent communication, analysis and problem-solving skills Knowledge of fixed-wing aircraft flight dynamics Experience using linear control principles and tools to design feedback control systems Experience analyzing non-linear simulations of aircraft closed-loop dynamics Experience using MATLAB to create, process, analyze, and visually represent data Active / in-scope DoD Secret Clearance Basic Qualifications for Senior Principal Engineer

Bachelors in STEM and at least 8 years of experience, a Master’s Degree in STEM with 6 years of experience, or a PhD Degree with 3 years of experience Excellent communication, analysis and problem-solving skills Knowledge of fixed-wing aircraft flight dynamics Experience using linear control principles and tools to design feedback control systems Experience analyzing non-linear simulations of aircraft closed-loop dynamics Experience using MATLAB to create, process, analyze, and visually represent data Active / in-scope DoD Secret Clearance Preferred Qualifications

Proficient in MATLAB/Simulink Experience designing control laws for fixed wing aircraft and performing handling qualities analysis Working knowledge of MIL-STD-1797 flying qualities requirements Active / in-scope DoD Top Secret Clearance Salary

Primary Level Salary Range: $110,300.00 – $165,500.00 per year. Secondary Level Salary Range: $137,400.00 – $206,000.00 per year. Benefits
