We are looking for a skilled and empathetic
adolescent mental health therapist
that wants to make a difference and be part of an amazing and growing team located in
San Martin, CA , just outside of San Jose.

Short-term Residential Treatment Program
in San Martin, where therapists offer guidance and support to adolescents and their families that include multi-modal family system approaches to amplify and solidify change.
Serving teen girls and boys (gender fluid) ages 12 – 17, experiencing and struggling with school refusal, anxiety, depression, substance abuse, suicidal ideation and other mental health issues. Pre-teens and teens reside at our Residential Treatment Center in our comfortable family-style residence, where community and interpersonal relationships are fostered and encouraged.
Responsibilities
Managing an average caseload size of six (6) clients; we believe allows for you to build good rapport with clients and families for effective treatment and outcome results
Provide individual, family and group therapy
Parent coaching
Case management and team management
Crisis management/ de-escalation
Treatment planning
Utilize assessment tools
Utilization review
Documentation in our electronic medical record
Salaried position, will share on call duties
Qualifications Required:
Current California Licensure as one of the following:
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC)
Or:
Registered Associate with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) as one of the following:
Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT)
Associate Clinical Social Worker (ASW)
Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC)
Actively accruing supervised clinical hours toward full licensure
Desire to perform and develop counseling/therapeutic expertise in individual, family, and group therapy
Ability to plan, implement, and adjust a course of treatment as required.
Ability to pass a state background check and drug test
Candidates must be prepared to establish a CAQH profile and obtain a National Provider Identifier (NPI) as part of the onboarding process.
Preferred:
Two (2) years of working experience as a therapist leading individual, family, and group therapy sessions
One year of experience working in a high acuity setting (intensive out-patient, residential, psychiatric hospital, eating disorder clinic, substance abuse clinic, etc., using relational, experiential, and systemic modalities
For associate therapists (prefer 1000 hours completed), but not required
