Telecare San Diego’s behavioral health program is a 24/7 mobile crisis response team (MCRT) serving individuals of all ages experiencing mental health crisis. MCRT offers crisis triage, risk assessment, in‑person intervention, and case management. Collaborates with the Access and Crisis Line (ACL) and law enforcement for referrals. Each team responds to calls field‑based in Central, East, South, North Central, and North Inland regions. A Master’s Degree in Social Sciences or related field Current associate license with CA BBS: ASW, AMFT, APCC Two years of experience providing crisis management and mental health services Current driver’s license and valid vehicle insurance listed under your name Personal vehicle available for work, community meetings, and crisis response Acceptable driving record for transport in program van Preferred Experience
Outpatient clinic or community mental health service with two years of direct clinical service Experience with intensive case management and psychiatric rehabilitation concepts Role Responsibilities
Dispatched to emergency/crisis events across San Diego County Provide onsite therapeutic interventions to persons and families in crisis Collaborate with First Responders to transport members to appropriate levels of care Lead the dispatched mobile team, offering clinical guidance and instruction Conduct concise assessments to depict member needs and recommend treatment Make appropriate referrals for placement, case management, and aftercare services Maintain awareness of community resources Employment Status
Part‑Time (3 or 2 days/week) Short‑Hour (1 day/week) Shifts Available
PM: 2:30 pm – 1:00 am NOC: 9:00 pm – 7:30 am Pay & Geographic Differential
The expected starting wage range is $40.23 – $49.70. Telecare applies geographic differentials to its pay ranges based on the role’s location. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements. Equal Opportunity
