With over 30 locations throughout the U.S. and a virtual treatment option, we treat 6,000+ patients per year and are guided by pre‑eminent psychiatrists and psychologists who founded us in 2008.

What You’ll Be Doing Psychiatrists lead multidisciplinary treatment teams. They diagnose illnesses, prescribe and administer treatment for psychiatric disorders such as mood disorders, anxiety disorders, eating disorders, and co‑occurring disorders. Psychiatrists meet regularly with patients, prescribe psychotropic medications, provide psychotherapies, determine appropriate levels of care, and advocate for patients’ best treatment options within health care systems.

Essential Duties

Practice evidence‑based, high‑quality psychiatric medicine and encourage patient understanding and involvement in care and treatment decisions.

Maintain optimal patient access and support system efforts toward quality improvement, standardization of care, and clinical outcomes research.

See an average of 18‑24 patients per week; inpatient and residential patients are seen by psychiatrists daily or twice weekly, as required.

Complete documentation, prepare and maintain accurate charts, case files, and records in a timely manner.

Collaborate with staff, physicians, and management to improve service delivery; treat all teammates with respect and demonstrate the highest levels of ethical conduct.

Advocate for patients, document level‑of‑care needs, and participate in insurance peer reviews to optimize patient stays.

Other Responsibilities And Expectations

Provide clear and timely clinical information; request resources needed to meet company goals; give and receive respectful feedback.

Lead quality improvement initiatives, ensure compliance with legal and educational requirements, and improve practice efficiency.

Achieve clinically relevant metrics and adapt company innovations to enhance patient care and program efficiency.

Maintain departmental policies, quality improvement, safety, environmental and infection control standards.

Promote positive relationships with employees, physicians, patients, families, and visitors; treat all with courtesy, dignity, empathy, and respect.

Engage in professional growth through educational programs, literature review, and staff training sessions; teach and mentor others.

Receive supervision from physician and non‑physician leaders; evaluate performance and identify growth opportunities.

Provide community education and marketing efforts as requested.

Serve as teacher for trainees seeking clinical experience; serve as clinical supervisor and mentor to staff.

Must Haves

Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) required.

Graduation from an accredited medical school and completed accredited residency program or fellowships for specialists; equivalent training required.

Physician board‑certified in General Psychiatry and/or Child and Adolescent Psychiatry required.

Licensed to practice medicine in the state(s) seeing patients required.

Basic Life Support/CPR certifications, licenses, and registrations required; all certifications must be kept current.

Knowledge of regulatory body requirements (Joint Commission, etc.) required.

Compensation for the Psychiatrist role is $275,000 to $315,000 plus bonus and benefits, based on market expectations and candidate experience.
