Sales Director, Residential and Commercial HVAC John C. Cassidy Air Conditioning & Plumbing, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and performance-driven Sales Director to provide strategic leadership and direction for all HVAC sales operations in the residential and commercial sector, including design/build, retrofit, and maintenance contracts.

What You'll Do:

Lead and manage the sales division at the Cassidy branch, ensuring consistency, performance, and profitability.

Execute the company's sales strategy to drive year-over-year revenue and market growth.

Provide strong leadership, mentoring, and performance management for sales teams.

Responsible for achieving budgeted sales plan and margin target.

Identify and develop new business opportunities in the commercial HVAC market — design/build, retrofit, and maintenance.

Oversee proposal development, bid submissions, and contract negotiations to ensure competitive pricing and profitability.

Partner with branch managers and operations teams to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.

Maintain and expand relationships with general contractors, developers, and property management firms.

Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to guide strategic business decisions.

Drive consistent sales processes, performance metrics, and reporting across all branches.

Collaborate with marketing to enhance brand visibility, lead generation, and regional outreach.

Support recruitment, training, and development of commercial sales personnel company-wide.

Represent the company at trade shows, networking events, and industry associations.

Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and results-driven performance.

What You'll Bring:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in business administration, Mechanical Engineering, or related field preferred.

Experience:

Minimum 8–10 years of experience in HVAC commercial sales, with at least 3–5 years in a senior management or director role.

Proven success leading sales teams and achieving 30+M revenue targets.

Strong understanding of commercial HVAC systems, estimating, and project lifecycle management.

Demonstrated experience selling HVAC with multiple financing solutions.

Demonstrated experience managing P&L, budgets, and performance metrics.

Excellent communication, leadership, and negotiation skills.

Proficient in CRM and sales management tools (e.g., ServiceTitan and On Call Air).

Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze financial data and make strategic decisions.

Valid driver’s license and ability to travel regularly to branch locations and client sites.
