A fast-growing, sustainability-focused beauty brand is seeking an Associate QA Manager to lead quality assurance across its product portfolio. This is a hybrid role based in the NYC/Tri-State area, reporting to the Director of Product Development.
You’ll be responsible for developing and maintaining quality systems across supplier relationships, product manufacturing, and internal processes. The role involves working closely with cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure products meet brand, retailer, and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and manage supplier quality systems, audits, and performance tracking
Lead quality oversight during new product development and manufacturing
Investigate and resolve product complaints, non-conformances, and CAPAs
Support regulatory compliance efforts (FDA Cosmetic GMPs, MoCRA, ISO 22716)
Collaborate on SOP creation, training, and continuous improvement initiatives
Maintain documentation across platforms such as SharePoint, Asana, and NetSuite
Ideal Candidate:
5+ years of QA/QC experience in cosmetics, personal care, or related manufacturing
Strong understanding of GMPs, ISO standards, and regulatory frameworks
Skilled in root cause analysis, CAPA development, and supplier management
Excellent communication, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment
