Responsibilities
Develop cost plans and estimates from concept through detailed design.
Support client land acquisitions.
Deliver and present updated cost plans at appropriate design milestones.
Review proposed design changes/new technologies and prepare estimates within appropriate accuracy levels.
Understanding design stages and estimate levels.
Provide commercial input to design optioneering and input into value engineering exercises.
Prepare cash commit forecasts for the construction life cycle.
Work collaboratively with stakeholders in the preparation of estimates/cost plans.
Analyze labor markets and cost drivers such as unions & tax.
Support our clients with monthly presentations.
Deliver Life Cycle Costing models.
Benchmark integration to ensure accurate data capture.
SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering or field related to construction.
Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience.
Experience working in a construction cost management role such as Estimating, Cost Engineer, Project Engineer, Project Cost Controls etc.
Thrives in a client facing role.
Experience supporting program level cost management for medium or large-scale construction projects.
Good knowledge of construction industry technical matters, such as value management and value engineering.
Strong communication skills.
Additional Information The salary range for this full-time role is $120K-$140K per year.
On-site presence and requirements may change depending on our clients' needs.
