We have an exciting opportunity for an Area Manager to join our dedicated, caring team!

Responsibilities The Area Manager is responsible for training and supervising Program Supervisors as direct reports and direct support professionals as indirect reports. The Area Manager ensures that the programs under them maintain a high quality of services by supporting and evaluating service delivery for individuals receiving services. The Area Manager supports quality service delivery by analyzing each individual's Coordinated Service and Support Plan (CSSP), CSSP addendum, and other programmatic forms for the individual receiving services in accordance with federal and state regulations and the organization's policies and procedures.

Qualifications

Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Ability to work independently with minimal instruction and make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.

Knowledge of 245D licensing requirements, policies, and procedures.

Willingness and ability to maintain good employee relations and morale.

Ability to work in a variety of settings and with a variety of personal care needs without direct supervision.

Ability to effectively use a computer and software, calculator, household appliances, smoke alarms, etc. with training.

Ability to accept and incorporate new methods into existing practices and implement therapeutic interventions as required.

Ability to master the use of all physical intervention and assistance techniques, necessary to meet the needs of assigned individual with disabilities.

Education Requirements

A baccalaureate degree in a field related to human services, and one year of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older; AND three years of supervisory level experience in a program providing direct support services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older.

An associate degree in a field related to human services, and two years of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older; AND three years of supervisory level experience in a program providing direct support services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older.

A diploma in a field related to human services from an accredited postsecondary institution and three years of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older; AND three years of supervisory level experience in a program providing direct support services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older.

A minimum of 50 hours of education and training related to human services and disabilities and four years of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older under the supervision of a staff person who meets the qualifications of Program Supervisor I; AND three years of supervisory level experience in a program providing direct support services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older.

Starting Salary Range $53,000-$55,000 annually, DOQ.

Benefits: Eligibility and Coverage Eligible 1st of the month after 60 days employment. Health insurance (ICHRA), Dental, Vision, Company Paid Life/LTD. 401k-eligible after 90 days employment. Must be scheduled 30+ hours per week to be benefits-eligible.

Schedule Full time, flexible based on site needs.

Driver License Requirement Valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance required.

Connections Services, LLC will conduct a Minnesota Department of Human Services Background Study on all new employees. Employees in driving positions will also be subject to a Motor Vehicle Background check. Continued employment will be contingent on a cleared background study and a satisfactory MVR.
