National Account Manager - Fire Protection
ASC Engineered Solutions is seeking a National Account Manager (NAM) – Fire Protection to manage a defined portfolio of ASC fire distribution accounts and serve as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for our fire team.
Responsibilities
Strategic lead between ASC Engineered Solutions and assigned fire distributors, ensuring clear communication, strategy development, and execution.
Develop deep understanding of each distributor's business model, performance metrics, market position, and growth opportunities.
Build and maintain strong, long‑term relationships with key distributor stakeholders.
Communicate opportunities throughout ASC and with distribution partners to drive growth initiatives.
Design and implement customized growth strategies tailored to distributor core customers.
Identify opportunities for product expansion, increased market penetration, and revenue growth within the distributor channel.
Collaborate with distributors to create joint business plans and track progress against growth targets.
Analyze sales data, market trends, and distributor performance to identify areas for improvement.
Provide regular performance updates and actionable insights to internal teams and distributor partners.
Work closely with internal sales, rep agencies, customer service, marketing, and product teams to support distributor needs.
Support distributors with training, marketing resources, and tools to drive success.
Resolve issues proactively to maintain strong relationships and achieve mutual goals.
Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to provide strategic guidance.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
5+ years of experience in the fire industry, sales, and business development, preferably with distribution management experience.
Demonstrated ability to develop and execute growth strategies that deliver measurable results.
Strong interpersonal and relationship‑building skills with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively.
Exceptional analytical and problem‑solving abilities, with proficiency in interpreting sales data and market trends.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Experience with CRM tools, Power BI, Microsoft suite, and sales forecasting systems.
Willingness to travel as required (estimated 50%+).
