About the Job:

Odoo is looking for an enthusiastic and highly organized Event Specialist to help bring our vibrant company culture to life and elevate our brand presence externally. In this role, you’ll plan and execute a variety of internal events that connect teams, celebrate achievements, and foster a sense of belonging across our North American offices. You’ll also support the Event Manager – Team Lead in executing large-scale external initiatives, including tradeshows, our annual flagship event (Odoo Connect), and other business-facing events. Additionally, you’ll work closely with event coordinators to assist with academies, business shows, and webinars.

Responsibilities

Source, vet, and manage vendor partnerships to ensure cost efficiency, service quality, and alignment with brand and event goals.

Coordinate all event logistics—including catering, A/V, rentals, venue setup, and transportation—to ensure flawless execution.

Lead on-site teams and stakeholders to deliver seamless event operations and elevate the attendee experience.

Monitor live events in real time and proactively address technical or logistical challenges to maintain smooth delivery.

Oversee event setup, execution, and breakdown to optimize timelines, resource use, and overall efficiency.

Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and operations teams to align event objectives with business priorities.

Partner with marketing to drive event promotion, boost brand visibility, and enhance attendee engagement across channels.

Manage sponsor and partner relationships to maximize collaboration opportunities and event ROI.

Conduct post-event analysis to evaluate success metrics, gather insights, and recommend strategies for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

1+ years of professional experience, ideally in larger events (conferences, summits, tradeshows, etc).

Experience supporting or executing events ranging from 500+ attendees.

Strong organizational and project management skills; able to manage multiple events and timelines.

Detail-oriented with a track record of delivering high-quality results.

Skilled at working cross-functionally and communicating with diverse stakeholders.

Able to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Excellent time management and follow-through.

Proactive, collaborative, and adaptable.

Nice-to-Have

Salary range for this role is $80,000-$100,000. Actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location.
