Tanium Administrator, IT Asset Visibility and Security Engineer
Tetrad Digital Integrity (TDI) is a leading-edge cybersecurity firm with a mission to safeguard and protect our customers from increasing threats and vulnerabilities in this digital age.
TDI is looking for a technical contributor that will be implementing USPS cybersecurity and IT asset lifecycle management strategies protecting the digital network, connected assets, hosted applications and data, and employees within the Information Technology (IT) environment supporting USPS business, financial, and retail activities.
Role is also responsible for infrastructure, application and user administration of the USPS Tanium environment . The USPS Tanium environment is engaged with a heterogeneous mixture of over 100,000 end-user and server systems.
Qualifications
Candidates must have strong demonstrated experience in large enterprise IT environment including
8+ years of IT security experience and application of asset visibility solutions
toward IT hardware and software asset management security efforts and IT asset lifecycle management supporting both IT operations and security efforts including OS patching, application maintenance, vulnerability management, and security event investigation support.
Candidates must also have accredited and relevant college degree (computer science, information systems, etc.) or congruent work experience.
Candidates must also have documented enterprise-based experience as a Tanium administrator, and Tanium certification .
Specific technical knowledge, experience, and certifications with relevant tools such as
Armis Centrix , Splunk use and knowledge object development, Windows and Linux system administration,
AI tool application for data analysis
and business process improvement, are also desired.
Candidates would benefit from having relevant technical certifications (CISSP, CISA, CISM, GIAC, RHCE, CPTE, or CEH), strong oral and written communication skills, ability to prepare and interpret flowcharts, ability to build & maintain schedules and step-by-step action plans; strong interpersonal and organizational skills, and the demonstrated ability to positively influence peer organization and key stakeholders.
