Project Engineer – Boca Raton, FL
ADMA Biologics is a biopharmaceutical company committed to creating superior products for immunodeficient patients at risk for infection. We are looking for a dynamic and innovative Project Engineer to support GMP manufacturing at our Boca Raton, FL site.
Job Summary The project engineer provides engineering, project management, manufacturing and maintenance support to the GMP manufacturing site. The role involves troubleshooting, problem solving, design, procurement and commissioning of new process and utility equipment and upgrades to existing systems. The project engineer directs and assists capital engineering and process improvement projects.
Responsibilities
Provide engineering, project management, manufacturing and maintenance support to the GMP manufacturing site.
Execute troubleshooting, problem solving and implement engineering solutions for existing manufacturing processes and equipment.
Direct, evaluate and assist capital engineering and process improvement projects.
Design, procure and commission new process and utility equipment and upgrades to existing systems.
Qualifications
Ability to follow cGMP procedures with great attention to detail.
Ability to read and understand blueprints.
Ability to evaluate and interpret regulations and recognize the need for appropriate changes relative to procedures.
Ability to work in high-pressure, deadline-driven environment.
Actively provides feedback to operations management and staff regarding staff performance against SOPs.
Demonstrated ability to achieve goals, overcome obstacles, and meet deadlines.
Demonstrated ability to use computer software including Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
Experience Requirements
Minimum 5 years of engineering experience in a cGMP Pharmaceutical/Biological manufacturing environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Biochemical, or Chemical Engineering.
Preferred Experience Compliance Requirements (ES)
