About the Opportunity Our client, a leader in the Autonomous Vehicle industry, is looking for a skilled
Test Technician - QA
to join their team for a 6+ month engagement. This project involves maintaining a high standard of safety inside and outside the vehicle, ensuring vehicle readiness, and completing software and hardware tests. This is a high-impact role that requires a self‑motivated professional who can hit the ground running and deliver results quickly.
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables
Supporting vehicle operations and conducting basic software operation tasks.
Supporting missions through a wide variety of roles in and out of vehicles.
Assisting with documentation and metrics, and providing accurate written and oral feedback to engineering teams.
Analyzing vehicle logs and test data using in‑house tools to trace failures for root cause analysis, documentation, and communication.
Supporting the defect management process from recognition to resolution.
Executing mission prep procedures, including launching software, verifying configurations, deploying software, capturing data, and escalating issues.
Executing testing and data collection to evolve processes and tools to support observed customer needs.
Upholding a safety‑centric, inclusive, and open‑communication culture.
Required Skills & Experience
At least 2 years of experience running complex testing or vehicle testing.
Basic QA testing experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proactive mindset and resourcefulness.
Proficiency in JIRA/Confluence (or Azure Dev Ops).
Proficiency with MS Office/Google Suites.
A "get it done" attitude, safety‑first mindset, and a sense of urgency to resolve problems and tasks.
Proven ability to problem‑solve and deliver in high‑pressure situations.
Works well in a team environment.
