Overview
Kutztown University of Pennsylvania enrolls approximately 7,500 students across its graduate and undergraduate programs. Located in a rural setting in Kutztown, Pennsylvania, the University is near Allentown/Bethlehem and Reading, and about an hour from the Philadelphia metropolitan area. The University seeks to hire employees with experience working with diverse populations. The Department of Philosophy & Government invites applicants for our part-time adjunct faculty pool to teach various courses including but not limited to: Budgeting and Decision-Making, Principles and Problems of Public Administration, Public Personnel & Strategic Human Resource Management. Applicants who meet the minimum qualifications will be certified to be placed in our part-time adjunct faculty pool and remain in the pool while the pool is active. As the need arises, applicants in the pool will be considered and contacted for on-campus interviews. During the on-campus interview, a successful interview and demonstration of abilities are required to be selected.
Responsibilities
Teach courses in the Department of Philosophy & Government, including but not limited to Budgeting and Decision-Making, Principles and Problems of Public Administration, and Public Personnel & Strategic Human Resource Management. Be placed in and remain in the part-time adjunct faculty pool if eligible; be contacted for on-campus interviews as needs arise. Participate in on-campus interviews, including a demonstration of abilities when selected.
Minimum Qualifications
A master\'s degree in Public Administration, Public Policy, Human Resource Management, or a related field and five years of public or nonprofit management experience are required to apply.
Preferred Qualifications
One year of college teaching experience (or equivalent) is preferred.

As part of the application, candidates must submit: (a) letter of application; (b) current curriculum vitae; (c) copies of undergraduate and graduate transcripts (official transcripts must be provided by the time of the on-campus interview); (d) contact information for three professional references.
