Responsibilities
The SIRIS Senior Project Manager's role will be general project oversight for the design and construction implementation of the project with selected consultants and contractors. They will have overall responsibility for the bid evaluation, design management, construction oversight, and commissioning processes of the project, as well as reporting on progress to Owner. They will coordinate their efforts with other SIRIS personnel, subcontractor personnel, design consultants, contractors, vendors, inspection agencies, jurisdictional authorities, the Owner and its employees. They will be the Owner’s Representative during the entire design and construction lifecycle. The Senior Project Manager will work with the on-site project manager to manage and produce the monthly draw recommendation. They will be involved in the analysis and negotiation of each change request unless otherwise directed by the Owner and will be responsible for coordinating the project schedule with the construction schedule. Monitoring project financial data and budgetary cost accounting Progress Meetings Assisting in issue resolution Quality Assurance Claims Analysis and Resolution Services Qualifications
Education: Bachelor of Architecture/Engineering/Construction Management from an accredited school of higher education. (15 years experience in the Design and Construction Industry may be substituted for a degree) Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in both design and construction with a focus on commercial facilities. Knowledge: Able to quickly understand and master Requirements of local state and federal jurisdictions in relation to the Project. Construction Contract Documents including Front End and Technical Specifications and Drawings to readily understand and assess the requirements. Working knowledge of engineering services, building codes, budgeting and scheduling to lead to the project’s success. Experience with new ground up developments. Leadership: Must possess the skillset and competency to supervise and manage personnel of diverse skillsets. Preference: Experience with Hospitality projects. Thorough understanding of Ground up Construction including Civil, Structural, and MEP Systems.
