Administrative Assistant – Contracts & Procurement
Koniag Government Services is hiring an Administrator to support its Contracts and Procurement function through the Shared Services Division. The Administrator will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth entry of contract and subcontract actions into our ERP system, managing documentation, and supporting the Senior Vice President and the team through various projects.

Essential Functions
- Data entry for contracts and subcontracts into JAMIS PRIME system including new awards and modifications
- Periodically generate reports and manage metrics
- Organize and maintain digital files ensuring easy access
- Maintain complete and accurate records in the company’s systems
- Coordinate with other departments (Accounts Payables, Operations, etc.) to resolve data issues or questions
- Support implementation of new policies and procedures through documentation and log maintenance
- Other organizational projects as assigned by SVP
Work Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Position requires US Citizenship due to Federal contractual obligation
- Team player willing to ensure projects completed accurately and in a timely manner
- High attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent written, verbal, and communication skills for effective interface with all internal contacts
- Ability to work independently, take ownership of tasking and communicate effectively
- Strong working knowledge of a variety of computer software applications (MSWord, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Outlook)
Experience
- Associate’s degree in business administration or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years of experience in procurement, contracting, or administrative support—preferably in a government contracting or project-based environment
- Experience with JAMIS ERP (or similar systems) preferred
- Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures of the Federal Government Contracting industry a plus
