Job Overview
A Human Resources Generalist/Team Leader who supports a growing organization. The role is ideal for someone with a background in Human Resources and Recruiting who is creative, driven, and detail-oriented.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Human Resources Manager with maintaining employee databases and employment records.
- Support pre‑boarding and onboarding processes for new hires.
- Maintain accurate records of employee attendance and leaves.
- Help with policy formulation, hiring, and salary administration.
- Submit online job postings, shortlist candidates, and schedule interviews.
- Coordinate orientation and training sessions for new employees.
- Ensure smooth communication with employees and resolve queries timely.
- Interview applicants regarding their skills, experience, and education.
- Contact references and perform background checks on applicants.
- Inform applicants about position details, working conditions, benefits, and duties.
- Refer qualified applicants to the employer.
- Conduct or assist with new employee orientation when needed.
- Handle employment‑related inquiries from employees and supervisors; refer complex matters to the appropriate contact.
- Support Engagement Committee initiatives.
Qualifications
Required Experience: One to two years of work experience in Human Resources is preferred. Candidates with strong education (Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, HR, or Recruiting certifications) and experience or training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities will be considered.
Required Professional Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; excellent interpersonal and customer service skills; superior organizational skills and attention to detail; solid understanding of HR principles, practices, and procedures; excellent time management skills; self‑motivated and problem‑solving; ability to function well in a fast‑paced, stressful environment; ability to handle confidential data professionally; strong Microsoft Office skills.
