Job Description We’re seeking a proactive and personable HR Generalist to join our team in a part-time capacity. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys wearing multiple HR hats—from employee relations to payroll and recruitment. You’ll be the go-to resource for day-to-day HR operations and a key contributor to our company culture.
Summary of major responsibilities: Employee Relations: Serve as a trusted point of contact for employee questions and concerns
Support a positive and inclusive workplace culture
Assist with conflict resolution and performance management conversations
Payroll & Benefits Administration: Process bi-weekly payroll accurately and on time
Administer employee benefits, including enrollments, changes, and inquiries
Liaise with benefit providers and ensure compliance with applicable laws
Recruitment & Onboarding: Post job openings and coordinate candidate interviews
Assist hiring managers with candidate selection and offer letters
Facilitate smooth onboarding experiences for new hires
Compliance & Documentation: Maintain employee records and ensure confidentiality
Support compliance with federal and state employment laws
Assist with policy updates and internal communications
Requirements and skills: 3+ years of experience in Human Resources or related field
Strong knowledge of HR practices, payroll systems, and benefits administration
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS platforms
