Requirements The Executive Assistant provides logistical and executive support to the Strategic Operations and Information Technology Teams, and reports jointly to the Vice President of Strategic Operations and to the University Chief Information Officer. The position plays a vital role supporting both the UIS executive team and the Business Design and Optimization Group (BDOG) senior managers, which includes facilitating regular meetings to ensure they are efficient and effective and follow-up items are appropriately assigned and followed through. Additional duties include, but are not limited to: Manage complex calendars, coordinate meetings, and resolve conflicting priorities. Handle confidential HR and Finance information, facilitating communication between the VP, CIO, and various stakeholders. Assist in preparing the VP and the CIO for critical executive level meetings, including preparing presentation decks, briefing notes, and talking point outlines. Work Interactions This position is supervised by the University CIO and reports duly to the CIO and the Vice President of Strategic Operations. The position works closely with the executive teams of those principles as well as senior level executives and their support staff across the university. The incumbent also interacts regularly with the central HR and Finance offices that support UIS and BDOG. The position is essential to planning and execution of the VP and the CIOs schedule, board meetings, and accomplishment of strategic initiatives. Requirements And Qualifications Bachelors degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience Excellent organizational, time management, and prioritization skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Technology proficiency in Google Workspace, Zoom, and other relevant software Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Experience in a higher education environment preferred Desire to work in fast paced, rapidly evolving environment with diverse stakeholders Work Mode Designation This position has been designated as Hybrid. Pay Range The projected salary or hourly pay range for this position which represents the full range of anticipated compensation is: $47,586.00 - $87,558.13 Compensation is determined by a number of factors including, but not limited to, the candidates individual qualifications, experience, education, skills, and certifications, as well as the Universitys business needs and external factors.
