Senior Helpers North Orange County seeks compassionate and dedicated caregivers to join our growing team and assist clients in Cypress, Long Beach, Huntington Beach, Garden Grove, Seal Beach, CA. Flexible part‑time and full‑time hours are available.

Base Pay Range

$18.00 / yr – $22.00 / yr

Shifts Available

• Tuesday–Friday 2–7 pm (Huntington Beach)
• Saturday 12–7 pm (Huntington Beach)
• Saturday & Sunday 9–7 pm (Seal Beach)
• Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 9–3 pm (Seal Beach – mainly driving)
• Saturday 9:30–5:30 pm; Sunday 1–9 pm (Cerritos)
• Saturday 5:30–9:00 pm (Cerritos)
• Mon, Wed, Thurs, Fri, Sat 6:30–8:30 pm (Seal Beach)

Responsibilities

• Personal Care Duties
  • Assisting with bathing, grooming, and hygiene
  • Helping clients with mobility and transfers
  • Supporting toileting and incontinence care
  • Meal preparation and feeding assistance
  • Medication reminders and administration support
• Companionship Tasks
  • Engaging clients in conversation and activities
  • Providing transportation to appointments, errands, or social outings
  • Helping with light housekeeping and laundry
  • Offering emotional support and fostering positive connections

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• No professional experience required – 1+ year of professional caregiver experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks as needed
• Must pass background checks and drug screening
• Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Technologically savvy (integrated apps used for tasks and communication)
• Most importantly, a caring heart and a desire to make a positive impact
