2nd shift: 3-11 EST
3rd shift: 11-7 EST

Pay Range

Base pay: $40.00/hr

Job Description

Key responsibilities:

• Create and execute inspection programs on CMM machines (e.g., PC-DMIS, Calypso, Polyworks) to measure parts.
• Inspect parts and materials for dimensional accuracy, comparing against engineering drawings, customer specifications, and industry standards.
• Utilize hand tools like calipers, micrometers, height gauges to perform inspections.
• Record inspection data, document defects or deviations, and prepare inspection reports.
• Perform first-piece and in-process inspections, maintain lot integrity, and ensure First Article Inspection (FAI) packages are completed properly.
• Identify and report production problems, assist in correcting them, and communicate inspection results with supervisors and other personnel.

Required Skills And Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical certifications beneficial.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T standards.
• Experience with CMM operation and programming software often required.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and computer skills.
• Proficiency with measurement tools like calipers, micrometers, and height gauges.
