Customer Service Representative
ASMPT in Suwanee, GA is looking for a Customer Service Representative. The Customer Service Representative is the primary point of contact for customers, handling inquiries, order processing, and issue resolution. This role ensures that customers receive timely, accurate, and professional support, contributing to customer retention and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, or CRM system.
- Process quotes, orders, returns, and warranty claims in accordance with company policies with 100% accuracy.
- Create and enter service contracts/chargeable service activities.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.
- Escalate complex issues to the Operations Manager when necessary.
- Provide product, order, and service information to customers.
- Collaborate with Logistics and Technical Support to resolve issues.
- Validate and create credit memos where applicable.
- Provide coverage for the AMCAS Customer Service group as required.
- Spanish/Portuguese language skills are a plus.
- Proficient in using all Microsoft applications.
- Detail oriented.
- Possess good organizational skills.
- Excellent telephone skills and manner.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
- Decision-making abilities, able to evaluate options and offer alternative solutions.
Education and Experience
- Associate's or Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years direct customer service experience; supervisory experience is a plus.
- Advanced ERP knowledge (SAP R5P or later release preferred).
- Works with minimum supervision.
