Recruiting HR Partner (Finance)

ORGANIZATIONAL SUMMARY: Central HR consists of multiple expertise areas including Talent Acquisition, Benefits, Classification & Compensation; Employee and Labor Relations; Continuous Process Improvement, HRIS, HR Business Partners and Talent and Learning Management. USF Human Resources is embarking on a multi-year transformation focused on a Human Resources strategy that elevates our people so that the University and culture support a competitive workforce advantage in line with our strategic plan.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Reporting to the Manager of Talent Acquisition, the Recruiting HR Partner will provide full‑cycle recruitment service for the University of South Florida’s Tampa campus. The role will partner with hiring managers to fill exempt and non‑exempt positions, research, develop, and implement effective strategies to develop high‑quality talent pipelines.

QUALIFICATIONS:

MINIMUM:

  • Bachelor’s degree and two years of HR related experience; or Master’s degree in a related field.
  • Six years of HR‑related experience or a combination of education and experience may substitute for the Bachelor’s degree.

PREFERRED:

  • Bachelor’s degree with at least five years of high‑volume recruitment/talent acquisition experience.
  • Experience working with an Applicant Tracking System, preferably Oracle.
  • Significant experience using the full recruiting capabilities of LinkedIn and other recruiting tools.
  • Strong ability with MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform full‑cycle recruitment for the Tampa campus through creative and cost‑effective sourcing methods to fill exempt and non‑exempt positions.
  • Proactively partner with hiring managers to identify current and future hiring needs.
  • Assess position requirements and candidate qualifications to ensure alignment with requirements and provide insightful candidate assessments.
  • Interview applicants to evaluate work history, education, training, and job skills.
  • Develop and maintain internal and external networks to ensure a strong pipeline of candidates.
  • Use innovative sourcing and marketing/branding techniques to engage both active and passive candidates using sourcing tools including but not limited to LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, and Glassdoor. Attend local job fairs.
  • Track, monitor, and report ongoing recruiting activities through disciplined use of Oracle to ensure data integrity for metrics/reporting.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
