Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to gather, document, and analyze business and functional requirements.
- Translate business needs into clear user stories, process flows, and technical specifications.
- Conduct requirement workshops, interviews, and JAD (Joint Application Design) sessions to understand business objectives.
- Perform gap analysis to identify opportunities for process improvement and system optimization.
- Work closely with development, QA, and UX/UI teams to ensure alignment of requirements with deliverables.
- Assist in test case review, UAT coordination, and validation to ensure solution quality.
- Document business processes, workflows, data dictionaries, and system interfaces.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and daily standups.
- Support change management and user training initiatives.
- Ensure traceability and version control of all requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Skills
- 12+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in IT or software development environments.
- Strong experience in requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation.
- Proficiency with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools (Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps).
- Expertise in writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and process mapping.
- Solid understanding of SDLC, business process modeling, and system integration concepts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data-driven decision-making ability.
- Experience with SQL for data validation, reporting, and analysis.
- Familiarity with API documentation, data mapping, and integration specifications.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work on multiple initiatives in fast-paced environments.
Nice-to-Have
- Experience in specific domains (Finance, Healthcare, Insurance, or eCommerce).
- Knowledge of BI and visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).
- Familiarity with RPA, digital transformation, and process automation initiatives.
- Understanding of regulatory frameworks (HIPAA, GDPR, SOX).
- Exposure to UX/UI concepts and wireframing tools (Figma, Balsamiq, Lucidchart).
- Certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, or CSM.
