Associate Director – Intermediary Distribution (West Territory)
Artisan Partners is seeking a dynamic and driven Associate Director to join our Intermediary Distribution team, supporting the Broker-Dealer and RIA channels across the West region. The Associate Director will work closely with the regional team to expand Artisan’s presence, deepen client relationships, and drive sales growth.
Location: Los Angeles, CA | San Francisco, CA
Base Salary Range: $90,000 - $120,000
Responsibilities
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing financial advisor clients
Proactively initiate daily outbound calls to prospect and engage targeted financial advisors
Collaborate with the regional team to develop and execute a strategic territory business plan
Profile financial advisors to understand their business models and identify new investment opportunities
Implement client retention strategies and support ongoing relationship management
Maintain and update the client/prospect database with accurate and timely information
Analyze sales reports to identify trends and opportunities for growth
Stay informed on industry developments, competitor activity, and market trends
Travel within the territory to conduct in-person meetings and attend industry conferences
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required
FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses required
2-5 years of experience in intermediary distribution or wholesaling
Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills
Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail
Willingness to travel regularly within the assigned territory
