Underwriting Account Representative (Finance)
Job Description
The Underwriting Account Representative (UAR) supports the underwriting process for renewal customers across multiple insurance lines, including property, casualty, workers' compensation, excess, and automobile coverages. This role collaborates with team members to achieve growth, profit, renewal retention, service, and management goals for an assigned book in the middle market segment of Commercial Insurance. The UAR gathers and analyzes account information, interprets data, and translates it into workbooks and issuance instructions, ensuring compliance with regulatory rules and corporate pricing strategies. In partnership with underwriters, the UAR documents risk narratives that meet audit standards.
