Bilingual Chinese AVP in Risk Management

International bank in midtown is seeking a Chinese bilingual AVP/Associate to assist the Head of Risk Management.
Responsibilities:
Implement and monitor detailed structure of counterparty and risk limits, guidelines, and other parameters. Conduct due diligence on credit proposals, reviews, and disbursement requests submitted. Monitor risk factors. Develop, implement, and maintain a strong management information system for monitoring and reporting credit risks. Prepare reports for the senior management and Head Office in a timely manner. Monitor the quality of the bank’s credit portfolio. Develop and implement remediation plans. Assist the Head of Risk Management in maintaining and updating the Credit Risk Manual when necessary. Provide support to the Branch’s Internal Control, Risk Management and Compliance Committee, and Credit Committee. Coach and mentor junior members. Assist and support the implementation of the Disaster Recovery Plan for the Branch. Requirements:
BBA in Finance or Accounting. MBA is a plus. Experience in managing a team. CFA or FRM is preferred. 7+ years of experience in credit risk management function. Chinese language skills in writing and reading (Mandarin). Formal credit training is preferred. Benefits:
