Job Description
Position: HR Generalist
Pay Rate: $30 to $40 per hour depending on experience
Location: San Diego, CA
Schedule: Part-time - 2 to 3 days per week from 9 AM to 6 PM
Responsibilities
- Lead recruitment and onboarding processes
- Manage employee relations, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions
- Administer payroll and ensure compliance with labor laws
- Oversee employee benefits including health, dental, retirement plans, and more
- Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures
- Manage day-to-day office operations and facilities
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers
- Handle insurance policy negotiations and renewals
- Support budgeting and expense approvals
- Ensure adherence to employment laws and immigration policies
- Maintain accurate documentation for audits and regulatory reviews
- 10+ years of HR and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems
