Want to gain valuable office experience, while supporting website and social media marketing and general office function for a busy student government organization? The Council of Graduate Students (COGS), is seeking an undergraduate student office assistant to help support their business office in Chittenden Hall. In particular, COGS is looking for a talented student to help with creating digital flyers, website updates (WordPress), posting on social media and general office support.
Desired availability for approx. 3-8 hrs per week, between 9 am – 5pm, M-F. Additional (optional) hours may be available for working at onsite COGS special events or additional support as needed.

The Council of Graduate Students is the authorized student government on campus representing our graduate/professional students at various levels across Michigan State University. What we are looking for:
- Strong work ethic, reliable, and responsible
- Personable and friendly – customer service oriented
- Ability or willingness to learn basic WordPress skills to help update website
- Ability/experience in creating event flyers using Canva and other tools
- Ability to navigate & post on social media
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Teams, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
