Job Title: Surveillance Security Officer

Responsibilities

  • Welcoming guests, verifying identity, and guiding visitors.
  • Managing access control and handling multiple systems efficiently.
  • Maintaining a 5‑minute email SLA and a 3‑minute instant‑message SLA.
  • Performing regular patrols to identify potential risks.
  • Inspecting security equipment and reporting maintenance needs.
  • Responding to incidents, providing first aid, and coordinating with emergency teams.
  • Answering questions in person or by phone.
  • Writing incident reports and communicating security concerns.
  • Ensuring the safety and protection of individuals and property.

Qualifications

  • Authorized to work in the U.S.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • State security license (BSIS Guard Card) and 32‑hour BSIS security training.
  • At least 21 years old.
  • Active driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • One year of security guard experience in a corporate setting (plus optional Security Rover experience).
  • Strong observation skills, excellent report writing, and sharp visual concentration.
  • Proficient with technology, basic phone, and computer skills.
  • Exceptional customer service abilities.
  • Must be flexible and available to work any day of the week, any shift (day, swing, or overnight).
  • Pass an extensive screening process.
  • Security, Military, or Law Enforcement experience is a plus.
