Position Overview The

Senior Architect / Project Manager

will play a key leadership role in the studio, working closely with the

Principal

and

Business Operations Manager

to oversee project delivery, guide business development initiatives, and mentor junior designers. The ideal candidate is a proactive design professional with strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills who thrives in a collaborative, fast‑paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Lead multiple architectural projects from concept through construction administration.

Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and project teams to ensure design integrity and quality execution.

Support business development efforts through proposal preparation, client outreach, and participation in presentations.

Mentor and guide junior staff in design development, documentation, and professional growth.

Contribute to studio operations, financial/resource planning, and workflow optimization alongside leadership.

Ensure project compliance with applicable codes, standards, and zoning regulations.

Qualifications

Professional degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch).

Licensed Architect

(REQUIRED).

LEED AP BD+C (provides added value).

8+ years of professional experience, including demonstrated project management experience.

Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and other relevant design tools.

Excellent communication, leadership, and client‑facing skills.

Experience in New York City building codes, permitting, and construction processes.
