Leasing & Marketing Team Leader (Full‑time, Non‑Exempt)
Summary
As the Leasing & Marketing Team Leader, you support the Community Manager in all property operations, focusing on leasing, marketing, resident relations and community functions. You aim for 100% occupancy through resident retention, leasing current availability and pre‑leasing future availability.
Responsibilities Warmly greet prospective clients and professionally present the property and apartment homes, utilizing feature/benefit selling, closing the sale and following up.
Answer incoming phone calls professionally, handling prospective clients, existing clients, internal team members or vendors.
Complete lease applications and participate in their verification; notify prospective clients of results.
Maintain accurate client records in accordance with company policy and update daily reports regarding notices to vacate, vacancy reports, and activity reports.
Maintain and perform upkeep of the tour route to ensure curb‑side appeal.
Assist residents with day‑to‑day tasks as part of the community’s concierge program.
Participate in Cardinal U training as required.
Qualifications 1‑2 years of customer service and sales experience.
Strong communication skills.
High energy and enjoyment of a fast‑paced environment.
Excellence in providing warm, friendly, and helpful service in person and on the phone.
Basic computer skills: typing and writing ability for correspondence, memos, etc.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Availability to work evenings and weekends.
Ability to embody Cardinal culture and core values daily.
