Role Overview Soho House Design is looking for a passionate, hands‑on, highly motivated, and creative Mid‑Level Interior Designer to join the team. This person will work within a team of in‑house designers on internal and external hospitality projects. Applicants should be familiar with the interior design process from design development, materials research and selection, through to procurement, production and installation.
Responsibilities
Works closely with the Senior Designer/Lead Designer assisting them during all phases of the design process from concept to handover
Creates, prepares and presents design concepts for the review of Senior Designer/Lead Designer
Develops design drawings (bespoke furniture, lighting, joinery, layouts) and schedules for the review of Senior Designer/Lead Designer
Prepares preliminary FF&E budgets for the review of Senior Designer/Lead Designer
Ensures documents and presentations are filed in accordance to Soho House Standards
Sources finishes, fixtures, furnishings, fabrics, lighting, hardware and accessories
Ensures regular reviews at key design stages with Senior Designer/Lead Designer
Manages FF&E sourcing to target budgets and timetable on a daily level
Assesses and manages prototype stages of bespoke pieces
Attends regular site visits at key stages
Assists Architects in answering all RFI’s during construction
Assists FF&E install
Maintains sample library
Any other ad hoc duties assigned by manager
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in Hospitality & Residential design
Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design
Experience in being part of a collaborative design environment
Knowledge of local and online showrooms and resources, industry trends
Thrives in a fast‑paced dynamic, creative environment
Product development a plus

In accordance with New York law, the salary range for this role if filled within New York is listed below. The range for the position in other geographies may vary based on market differences. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permissible by law.
Salary Range: $75,000—$80,000 USD
