Safety Manager
Location:
Grapevine, TX (must be willing to travel or relocate to US projects)

Responsibilities
Managing the company environmental health and safety programs at the project level, driving a safety-oriented approach to work.
Compiling, analyzing, and interpreting occupational illness and accident statistical data at the project level; recommending process and product safety features that reduce employee exposure.
Routinely inspecting facilities, machinery, and safety equipment to identify and correct hazards and ensure safety regulation compliance.
Monitoring the workforce for unsafe behaviors and coaching employees on correct behaviors.
Developing environmental health and safety training materials (manuals, brochures, PowerPoint presentations).
Maintaining a paperwork management system to track all safety training initiatives.
Interpreting safety regulations for the project.
Coordinating and presenting safety training to support client requirements (new hire orientation, fall protection, confined space, lockout/tagout, etc.).
Interfacing with OSHA and other inspectors during site visits.
Qualifications
Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Safety, or related field (experience may substitute).
5 years of experience managing safety in construction projects.
BCSP certification (CSP, ASP, CHST, STSC, CIT, or STS).
Demonstrated ability to manage all aspects of a safety program on increasing complexity projects.
Knowledge of OSHA regulations, hazard recognition, record keeping, and injury management.
Proficient in Microsoft Word & Excel.
Strong organizational, time management, written and verbal communication skills.
Attention to detail and strong work ethic.
Ability to work independently and in a team, and to travel as required.
CPR/First Aid, EMS, OSHA/MSHA instructor certifications preferred.
Flexible to relocate and travel as project demands.
