Zing Recruiting, in partnership with a leading food manufacturing company, is seeking a skilled Sanitation Supervisor to join their dynamic team in Secaucus, NJ.
Hours:
3:30 PM – 11:30 PM
Salary:
$65,000 – $75,000 per year
Duties
Lead training and performance of sanitation staff.
Verify sanitation effectiveness and propose improvements.
Update sanitation standard operating procedures (SSOP).
Maintain the Sanitation Master Schedule and documentation.
Implement corrective actions for sanitation violations.
Conduct monthly inventory of sanitation supplies.
Oversee pest control and maintain related records.
Perform equipment cleaning verification and testing.
Prepare for BRC or other GFSI audits.
Communicate with other departments regarding schedules.
Conduct safety and sanitation inspections.
Supervise the 2nd shift crew and ensure building security.
Enforce visitor policies and maintain records.
Promote workplace safety and conduct LOTO procedures.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
2 to 5 years of relevant experience preferred.
Bilingual in English and Spanish (must).
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Detail-oriented and organized.
College education or equivalent work experience.
Knowledge of HACCP, AIB, SQF, or BRCGS standards is a plus.
