Responsibilities
Implement, administer, and use cybersecurity tools, systems, and applications; develop policies, standards, and guidelines for secure enterprise operations.
Deploy, administer, and support security systems and infrastructure including endpoint protection, intrusion detection/prevention systems, firewalls, vulnerability management, forensics utilities, and other infrastructure maintained by the Information Security Office.
Develop plans to safeguard information against unauthorized access, modification, and destruction, ensuring organizational continuity.
Monitor, research, and respond to cybersecurity events and incidents such as malicious code detection, intrusion detection, system configuration, and patch management issues.
Conduct risk assessments, audits, and validate that system functionality and security controls are implemented appropriately per policy and industry best practices.
Conduct organization-wide user cybersecurity training and outreach.
Stay current with industry developments, standards, trends, evolving technology, threats, and risk.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering/analysis.
Strong knowledge of security tools, policies, and incident response.
Experience with endpoint, network, and endpoint protection, intrusion detection, firewalls, vulnerability management, and forensics utilities.
Ability to develop and implement security plans and policies.
Experience with risk assessments, audits, and validation of security controls.
Excellent communication and training skills.
