Web Engineer – Growth
Caesars Entertainment in Jersey City, NJ is hiring a Web Engineer – Growth to build exceptional web applications and shape user experiences.
What You Will Do
Develop, debug, and maintain high-quality web applications.
Collaborate with a cross-functional engineering team to iterate on features and deliver intuitive user experiences.
Ensure applications are performant, scalable, and adhere to best practices for web development.
Write clean, reusable, and testable code, leveraging design patterns and architectural principles.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, tools, and frameworks to incorporate new technologies into the development process.
Participate in agile practices such as stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
Contribute to fostering a culture of technical excellence.
What You Will Need
3-5 years of experience in web development with a focus on frontend technologies.
Proficiency in React.js and an understanding of its core principles.
Experience in modern JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, and CSS frameworks (e.g., Tailwind, Sass).
Experience with state management libraries like Redux or Context API.
Familiarity with Web Native App runtimes such as React Native, Flutter, or Capacitor a plus.
Familiarity working on a micro-frontend application stack.
Familiarity with build tools such as Webpack, Vite, or Rollup, and CI/CD pipelines.
Understanding of how RESTful APIs and WebSocket are integrated with the client.
Familiarity with responsive design, accessibility standards, and cross-browser compatibility.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Salary The salary range for this position is $120,000 - $160,000 USD, which is dependent on a several factors including relevant experience, geography, business needs and market demand. This role may offer the following benefits: medical, vision, and dental insurance; life insurance; disability insurance; a 401(k)-matching program; among other employee benefits. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation, including, but not limited to, cash bonuses. This role includes paid Personal Time Off and paid company holidays.
Location & Work Arrangement Hybrid – on-site 1‑2 days per week with remote work elsewhere. On‑site orientation required.
