BAZIC PRODUCTS
The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for leading BAZIC PRODUCTS’ digital presence and performance across all online channels. This role blends creativity, strategy, and analytics to drive brand awareness, online sales, and customer engagement through social media, email, website, and content marketing.
The ideal candidate will be both creative and data-driven, capable of planning and executing campaigns, managing content creators and digital contractors, and optimizing all touchpoints to ensure a consistent brand voice across platforms. This position also oversees digital storytelling, email/SMS marketing, product listing copy, and internal communications such as the company newsletter.
Duties & Responsibilities
Plan, manage, and execute multi-channel digital campaigns that align with brand and business goals. Oversee paid and organic digital initiatives, including social, email, and content marketing. Collaborate with the Marketing Manager on campaign concepts, brand messaging, and KPIs. Content Management & Creation
Lead ideation, direction, and creation of digital content (in-house or through creators). Develop content calendars for social media, email, and blogs that reflect brand priorities. Write and edit copy for web pages, product listings, marketing materials, and promotional campaigns. Social Media Oversight
Oversee social media presence and engagement strategies across all major platforms. Manage influencer, affiliate, and UGC creator partnerships to increase authentic visibility. Ensure consistent tone, storytelling, and visual standards in all content. Email & SMS Marketing
Plan and execute email and SMS campaigns using platforms like Klaviyo or Attentive. Create and test automation workflows, audience segmentation, and campaign performance tracking. Work with designers to produce visually engaging, high-performing communications. Website & Content Marketing
Maintain and update website content (e.g., product copy, blog posts, brand story pages). Optimize listings and web content for conversion and SEO best practices. Analyze website and content metrics to guide ongoing improvements. Internal Communications
Produce the “Bazic Buzz” company newsletter to keep employees informed and engaged. Capture content and photos from internal events for team recognition and brand storytelling. Work closely with the Events & Partnerships Specialist to align online and offline initiatives. Manage and communicate project timelines using Airtable or similar tools. Track, analyze, and report on campaign performance, providing insights for optimization. Other Duties
Perform additional related duties as assigned to support marketing goals. Occasionally attend and capture digital content from company or partner events. Requirements for Digital Marketing Specialist
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field. 2+ years of experience in digital marketing, content strategy, or campaign management. Proven ability to plan and execute cross-channel digital campaigns. Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills for digital platforms. Familiarity with Klaviyo, Google Analytics, and CMS tools such as WordPress or Shopify. Understanding of SEO principles and data-driven optimization. Experience managing external creators or contractors (e.g., video editors, designers, influencers). Highly organized with strong project management skills. Ability to interpret performance data and make actionable recommendations. Creative problem solver who stays current on marketing and social trends. Strong interpersonal and communication skills; comfortable collaborating cross-functionally. Ability to work onsite in Monrovia, CA (no hybrid/remote options available). Flexible availability to travel and attend marketing events, including some weekends. Job Details
