Teaches and actively maintains research productivity Develops a funded program of scientific research. Provides direct patient care activities through clinical practice opportunities with affiliated hospitals and other healthcare organizations. Instructs didactic coursework (online and classroom as appropriate) and mentors students. QUALIFICATIONS
Doctoral degree in nursing or related field (Ph.D., DrPH). Eligibility for licensure as a registered nurse in Texas. PREFERRED
MSN or related discipline. Funded post-doctoral fellowship or history of federal funding as a principal investigator (Faculty on the tenure-track). CERTIFICATIONS
Depending upon the specialty area (e.g., CRNA, NP-BC). BENEFITS
