Job Description Position location – Remote (Within the USA)
Responsibilities
Design, plan, install, upgrade and administer the full suite of SAP products, as well as the underlying databases, including ECC, CRM, BW‑BI, SCM, Portal/Web AS, NWDI, Solution Manager, and GRC SAP Security architecture.
Provide advanced Basis support for all levels of the business, including IT and business management, business analysts, power users, application developers, and infrastructure/operations team members.
Prepare and perform database, hardware and Operating System installations, as well as upgrades, and migrations. Responsibilities also include configuration of secured interfaces, SNC, SSO, Federated Portals Networks, LDAP, etc.
Participate in the periodic system copy/refresh of SAP system landscapes from production instances to non‑production instances.
Consult with the security administrator to design, develop, and implement SAP Security configurations in compliance with corporate policy.
Participate as a key contributor during Corporate Compliance audits, and other initiatives as required in a Sarbanes‑Oxley reporting environment.
Provide on‑call IT support (24x7x365) for production in a global SAP‑centric environment.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science (or a related field) is required.
Minimum of 8 years of hands‑on SAP Basis and SAP Security administration experience, including 2‑3 full life‑cycle SAP implementations or 2‑3 major SAP release upgrades in a UNIX/LINUX environment, is required.
Must have demonstrated experience in the evaluation and design of interfaces between SAP and external systems, maintenance of the SAP Data Dictionary and database objects, and change management and migration of SAP database and application configurations into production.
In‑depth, hands‑on knowledge of the installation and application of SAP software, patches, SAP note fixes, and SAP Security administration.
Requires hands‑on SAP administration and performance tuning experience in UNIX/LINUX and Windows Operating System environments.
Certification in Prosci Change Management Process is considered a plus.
Effective communication skills (verbal and written) and the ability to communicate with all levels of the organization up to and including executive roles.
