The Communications Specialist will play a key role in advancing our brand narrative and ensuring consistent, high-quality messaging across all internal and external channels. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to strategic communications initiatives, media engagement, content development, and storytelling that enhance visibility and strengthen organizational reputation.
Key Responsibilities
Write, edit, and produce engaging content for press releases, articles, web pages, newsletters, and social media platforms.
Support media relations efforts by tracking opportunities, drafting media materials, and coordinating press outreach.
Monitor media coverage, trends, and sentiment, compiling reports and insights to inform communications strategy.
Assist in the development of talking points, executive messages, and presentation materials for leadership.
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to maintain brand consistency and ensure alignment of messaging across platforms.
Contribute to internal communications through updates, announcements, and employee engagement initiatives.
Coordinate logistics and materials for communications-driven events, webinars, and announcements.
Support measurement and reporting on communications performance, offering recommendations for optimization.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in communications, public relations, or content creation (in-house or agency).
Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills with the ability to adapt tone and style for different audiences.
Strong understanding of media relations and digital communications practices.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with keen attention to detail and deadlines.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace; experience with media monitoring and social media management tools is a plus.
